About Us
Americans Leather Jacket is operated from Houston, Texas, bringing 20 years of hands-on leather craftsmanship to the US market. Every jacket is manufactured in our own factory in Pakistan — a facility we’ve run for two decades — cutting out the middlemen and letting us offer genuine leather, built to your spec, without a designer-label markup.
Every jacket starts with genuine hide cowhide and buffalo hide for structure and durability, sheepskin, goat, and lambskin for a softness that only improves with age. No bonded leather. No synthetic stand-ins dressed up as the real thing.
We’re not chasing seasons or trends. We’re building jackets meant to be worn for years, get better with wear, and still look right long after they’re broken in.
Our Process
1. Handpicking the Leather
Every jacket starts with the right hide — cowhide, buffalo, sheepskin, goat, or lambskin, chosen for what that specific design needs: structure, softness, or both. We select for texture and flex, not just cost, because the leather is the jacket.
2. Bringing Your Design to Life
Want one of our existing styles, or something built entirely from scratch? We work through fit, features, and finish with you directly — monograms, hardware, lining, cut, color. If you want it distinctly yours, we build it that way.
3. Crafting by Hand
This is where 20 years of tailoring shows. Panels are hand-cut for a clean structure. Seams are hand-stitched and reinforced at every stress point. Zippers, buttons, and hardware are chosen to match both function and finish — not just what’s cheapest to source.
4. Quality Control
Before a jacket ships, it’s inspected for stitching consistency, leather quality, and hardware integrity, then tested for durability. “Looks good in photos” isn’t the bar. “Holds up for years” is.
